World Book and Copyright Day 2014

On the occasion of World Book and Copyright Day, the Lucienne Deschamps Foundation supports two bodies: the Haitian Copyright Office (BHDA) and SELAKOUN ’.

Indeed, faithful to its mission of promoting literature and safeguarding Haitian cultural heritage, the FLD grants through the BHDA a scholarship of one hundred thousand gourdes (100,000.00) to a law school student who has chosen to write his thesis on copyright in Haiti.

The Foundation is also happy to be associated with the awareness-raising activities carried out by SELAKOUN. A conference-debate, a show, and talks on copyright, these are the means used by this young organization to attract the attention of the public and of intellectual property pirates, in particular to the issue of copyright. in Haiti.
